Committees
The City Harvest committee grows over 2,000 lbs of product for the PHS City Harvest program, donating produce to local food banks.
The Communications Committee manages our emails to gardeners, newsletters and updates the website. They work closely with the Steering Committee and Events & Fundraising Committee.
The Compost Committee works with gardeners to educate them on how to set up and maintain effective composting systems individually in their garden plots or shared with neighboring plots.
The Events & Fundraising Committee plans the annual fundraiser, Cornucopia, Community Food Truck Nights, Workshops. Sprouts Committee is a sub-committee of Events & Fundraising.
The Finance Committee reviews the annual operating and capital budgets and reports those budgets to the Steering Committee prior to their submission to the membership for approval.
The Horticulture Committee is responsible for planting and maintaining, all of the common garden areas. To join, please contact horticulture@thespringgardens.org
The Construction committee manages the daily maintenance and special projects of the garden.
The Plot assignment committee manages all garden memberships, onboarding, as well as ensuring all garden rules are being followed throughout the garden.
The Sprouts committee is focused on planning educational and fun activities for the children of The Spring Gardens.
