City Harvest
The City Harvest committee grows over 2,000 lbs of product for the PHS City Harvest program, donating produce to local food banks.
Communications
The Communications Committee manages our emails to gardeners, newsletters and updates the website. They work closely with the Steering Committee and Events & Fundraising Committee.
Compost Committee
The Compost Committee works with gardeners to educate them on how to set up and maintain effective composting systems individually in their garden plots or shared with neighboring plots.
Events & Fundraising
The Events & Fundraising Committee plans the annual fundraiser, Cornucopia, Community Food Truck Nights, Workshops. Sprouts Committee is a sub-committee of Events & Fundraising.
Horticulture
The Horticulture Committee is responsible for planting and maintaining, all of the common garden areas. To join, please contact horticulture@thespringgardens.org
Maintenance & Construction
The Construction committee manages the daily maintenance and special projects of the garden.
Plot Assignment
The Plot assignment committee manages all garden memberships, onboarding, as well as ensuring all garden rules are being followed throughout the garden.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee governs The Spring Gardens. Members are voted on at every Fall meeting. There are 14 spots on the Steering Committee.
Volunteering
The Volunteering Committee manages all volunteer groups that come into the garden as well as workdays and chore weeks. To join, please contact volunteering@thespringgardens.org
